Day 01
Arrival
Upon arrival at Taoyuan International Airport, you will be met and transferred to your accommodation hotel. The remainder of the day will be free.
Day 02
TAIPEI CITY – KEELUNG – YEHLIU – TAIPEI CITY
After breakfast, we proceed to Keelung to visit Chung Cheng Park where you can view the huge statue of the Goddess of Mercy and also a panoramic view of Keelung Harbor. Then we continue to Yehliu famed for its numerous rock formations resembling a Queen head, Fairy Shoe and Lover Rock. Return to Taipei around 12 noon for lunch. Afternoon tour of Taipei City, which includes the impressive C.K.S. Memorial Hall, National Palace Museum where 5,000 years of Chinese Imperial arts and jade collections are exhibited, Martyrs Shrine of traditional architecture and Taipei Handicraft Center.
Day 03
TAIPEI / SUN MOON LAKE
Breakfast at hotel, then we will drive to Sun Moon Lake, which located in the middle of Taiwan and situated 762 meters above sea level in the lofty mountains of Central Taiwan, tour will stops at the famous Wenwu Temple or Literature Warrior Temple dedicated to Confucius as Master of Pen and to Kuan Ti as Master of Sword, Itathao Village, Tse-En Pagoda and Holy Monk Shrine. After touring round Sun Moon Lake, proceed to hotel for check in, we will overnight at Sun Moon Lake.
Day 04
SUN MOON LAKE – FO GUANG SHAN MONASTERY – KAOHSIUNG
Breakfast at hotel, then we will drive to Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Monastery, the most famous Buddhist sacred place of southern Taiwan. Here you will learn about Buddhism during the monastery walking tour, and there will be chance to taste Buddhist vegetarian lunch (at your own cost) and communicate with some of the monks, nuns during the visit to the Main Shrine, Great Buddha Land where you will find a huge Buddha statue. Continuously, we will drive to Kaohsiung City, which is the second largest city of Taiwan. The tour will take you to Love River and Lio Ho Night Market. Overnight at Kaohsiung.
Day 05
KAOHSIUNG – KENTING – TAITUNG
Morning tour to Kenting National Park, located at Taiwan southern tip and the 37 miles of coral-rimmed shoreline along three sides of the park provide its main attractions. Stop will be made at Oluanpi light house, Maopitou coast scenic area and Kenting forest recreation area. Continuously we will drive to Taitung via Southern Link Highway. Overnight stay at Chihpen.
Day 06
TAITUNG – EAST COAST NATIONAL SCENIC AREA – HUALIEN
After breakfast, we will starting the exciting East Coast National Scenic Tour. The East Coast National Scenic Area, known as Taiwan last unspoiled land, stretches 170 kilometers down the east coast of the island. Weathering, erosion, and accumulation have produced a wide range of landforms here. Our tour will stops at Siaoyeliou, Sansientai, Stone Steps, Caves of the Eight Immortals. Late afternoon, we will proceed to Hualien for overnight.
Day 07
HUALIEN / TAROKO GORGE / TAIPEI
After breakfast, whole day visit to Taroko National Park. Taroko Gorge is an exceptionally beautiful, narrow raving created by a river which has cut deep into the mountains of solid marble. A road carved into sheer walls of rock snakes its way past forested peaks and cliffs towering thousands of feet above it, while hundreds of feet below a river roars past gigantic marble boulders. Stops will be made at Evergreen Shrine, Swallow Grotto, Nine Turns of Tunnel, Marble Bridge, Tienshiang and Marble factory. After that we will drive back to Taipei via Su Hwa Highway and will be around 7PM.
Day 08
Depature
At leisure until check out and transfer to the airport for departure flight.
